When my husband of 60 years died, the thought of arranging his cremation was really daunting. I went to see Colin at Strood Medway funeral director’s and I couldn’t have wished for a kinder and more professional person to guide me every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble and he gave us as much of his time as we needed - never ever rushing us. He organised everything and was extremely efficient and kept us in the loop as he did it. He chose Yvonne to be our celebrant and again she did an excellent job meeting with us and really understanding my husband’s life and she delivered this so well in the Eulogy. We knew we could trust Colin to deliver a first class service and he did from beginning to end. I cannot recommend him more highly. Dear Colin, Thank you for providing a smooth and well presented funeral for Nancy today. All the details requested were noted by you, confirmed ahead of time and the support and management of our family pall bearers was ‘just great’ We couldn’t have wished for a better send off for mum The importance of a good send off cannot be underestimated, recognising that it is a time of stress, this was reduced / removed and all in your good and capable hands. Having your team also wear their ties of colour, ensured the flavour of mums send off was upheld. Their smooth support to me in the supply of pocket tissues was so appreciated. Immediate and kind. We appreciate all the support that you offered in this funeral journey and without question would recommend you to others. Please feel free to use this in any document promoting your services, as at the time when you need support such as you and your team have provided. It does make a world of difference to the recently bereaved. We even planned a Golden Charter with them and this was managed kindly and expediently. Based on our experience in April '24, after the passing of our dear Mum, Colin and his team at Medway Funeral Directors were First Class! Their patience, experience and professionalism shone through making what can be a difficult time so much easier for us. From a church funeral to crematorium service and then onto the wake all the pre-planning and advice offered by Colin we acted on worked out so well and importantly kept us on track and on time. We were so pleased Mum had the send off she had wished for, so thanks again Colin to you and your team.

Dear Emma and to all of you at Chatham Medway Funeral Service I just wanted to say a Big Thank You for all of the care you gave to my mum MAP. Emma from the moment we did the arrangements, to making sure mum was dressed, had her make up and hair done. For all the support when we came to view mum, we were given so much time and compassion, to every last detail to the end of her service and more, you have been amazing.
