  • At the most difficult time of our lives having to say goodbye to the most amazing man, my father Mick, Colin at Medway funeral Directors helped us arrange his funeral. We cannot even bring to words how grateful we are to have had Colin help us lay my Dad to rest! Colin is so respectful, kind caring and made us feel so at ease and that our Dad was being so well looked after. He gave us recommendations to what would be suitable for our needs and even the aftercare of dealing with Dads Ashes is amazing!!! Colin you are an amazing man and we are truely grateful for everything!! Thank you!!!

  • Cannot thank colin enough for the care kindness and support that he has shown our family .from the first visit to the day of our dads funeral nothing was too much trouble .a truly memorable day .dad would have been so proud.we have experience of another funeral directors in strood and there is no comparison at all colin and his team are amazing

  • 5 star service all the way! My dear mother sadly passed away in June of this year (2023) and soon after I contacted Medway Funeral Director to arrange her burial. The whole process was new to me and Colin explained, guided and supported me through it from start to finish. My questions were answered in a calm and friendly manner and any change or alteration I wanted for my mum's burial were nicely accommodated. The service provided was 1st class and I will 100% recommend Medway Funeral Directors.

  • Death is never easy for anyone. Being a married couple we have come across death in our life. However, losing our baby boy Beau a week before Christmas has broken us more than we could have ever imagined. We were lucky enough for Colin to carryout a funeral for one of our family members two years ago. Whilst dropping off something previously he mentioned that he leaves a night light on for all the little angels in his care. This resonated with our family and little did we know that we would need it. As you can imagine in hospital saying goodbye to your little man would never be easy but knowing Colin would look after him, made it possible for us to go home. Throughout the planning of the funeral, Colin did everything to make the day special, be it arranging a private car for just mum, dad and baby, to picking out the right celebrant. Walking in with my husband as he carried our boys casket and making sure we were okay and had our alone time at the end of the ceremony. We also had a charity go to Medway Funeral Directors to do hand and feet casting and the review they gave of Colin was outstanding with the care and attention he took with our baby. I don't think we could ever truly express or show our gratitude how much Colin has helped throughout the whole process. And given even after all of this when the funeral was over and my husband shook his hand and handed him a roll of money, he simply refused and said that it was his honour.

  • How to begin, we lost our Mum, she was our world our Angel on earth. Mum knew she going and she had said a lot of what she wanted. She wanted the service on the Hill (Frindsbury), as a family we have used them under different owners over the years. My sister and I made the call in the early hours of the morning after Mum passed, the guys were prompt, efficient and caring. We then made an appointment to see the Funeral Director and this was Colin. No idea how long we sat with him but nothing was a problem. He guided and suggested with great care and compassion. We placed the whole service in his hands, Mum had chosen a coffin which Colin sourced for us, he put us in touch with an amazing Celebrant (Kathryn Sansom) and made all the arrangements. Not sure if our requests were different, fussy or OTT but it did not matter the attention Colin and team gave us was EXCELLENT. On the day Colin and the team wore Pink Ties as Mum had asked for Pink ... I can not praise them high enough even our Limo driver who had only passed his test a week previous! (Humour, but done perfectly to suit the time). You helped make Mum's celebration of life special. The only step you could have gone further would have been to bring her back!..... Thank You Colin and Team.
