  • At the most difficult time of our lives having to say goodbye to the most amazing man, my father Mick, Colin at Medway funeral Directors helped us arrange his funeral. We cannot even bring to words how grateful we are to have had Colin help us lay my Dad to rest! Colin is so respectful, kind caring and made us feel so at ease and that our Dad was being so well looked after. He gave us recommendations to what would be suitable for our needs and even the aftercare of dealing with Dads Ashes is amazing!!! We felt like the team were holding our hand every step of the way, with patience, kindness and complete understanding.   • I suddenly found myself having to organise a funeral, which I'd never had to do before. I contacted Medway funeral directors to walk me through the process and Colin was so informative and supportive. There was no pressure to use them it was Colin's sincerity and compassion that made me go back after we registered the death. Budget was an issue but we still managed to give our loved one the best send off. I hope that I don't have to go through the process for a while yet but if I do I know where I will go. Thank you so much to Colin and the team I can't thank you enough.

  • Medway Funeral Directors , Colin and the team , were above and beyond my expectations regarding my husband care and funeral. My husband died sudden and unexpectedly and Colin went out of his way to ease any pressure and difficulty arising regarding dealing with the death and the afterlife care of my darling Nick. Always welcoming and friendly. The hospital had kept my husband body for a longer than expected time due to an inquest arising. Colin and the team collected Nick from the hospital, cared for him and assisted in any arrangements I needed to make. I never felt pressured or rushed In any way. Colin arranged and advised in all accounts- even to the point of me viewing my husband prior to the funeral. Always available when I needed to pop in, to see Nick, feel Nick or talk about Nick. I had a lot of jewellery made with Nicks ashes and Colin game me a small piece of Nick to carry with me to comfort me, while awaiting the completion of all jewellery using any ashes and then any spare ashes being reunited with Nicks main ashes. I cannot thank Colin and the team enough, the personal service has bonded us a good friendship and I will endeavour to keep in touch, now I have my darling Nick home, safe and sound after many moths of torment. I recommend this small, personal, family run and intimate business to anyone in need of guidance and confident their support and love for your loved one , will shine above and beyond your expectations x thank you Colin and the Whole Team ???????? kind Regards Mrs P x

  • We have used Colin at the Strood office for 2 funerals now and have been very impressed each time. Everything was explained very carefully and we were able to have what we wanted in terms of music from a CD. Suggestions were made which we really liked such as flowers for everybody to place on the casket. Many people who attended have also commented on how lovely the service was which is also thanks to the celebrants who were recommended to us. The florist recommendation was also excellent.
