My mum passed away 3 weeks ago and Medway Funeral Directors were so efficient. They were so kind and nothing was too much trouble. We always felt that my mum was being respected whilst they took care of her and it was such a relief knowing that she was in safe hands. On the day of the funeral they talked us through it and guided members of the family who wanted to carry the coffin. For such a sad time for us, they made it easy to organise everything. Death is never easy for anyone. Being a married couple we have come across death in our life. However, losing our baby boy Beau a week before Christmas has broken us more than we could have ever imagined. We were lucky enough for Colin to carryout a funeral for one of our family members two years ago. Whilst dropping off something previously he mentioned that he leaves a night light on for all the little angels in his care. This resonated with our family and little did we know that we would need it. As you can imagine in hospital saying goodbye to your little man would never be easy but knowing Colin would look after him, made it possible for us to go home. Throughout the planning of the funeral, Colin did everything to make the day special, be it arranging a private car for just mum, dad and baby, to picking out the right celebrant. Walking in with my husband as he carried our boys casket and making sure we were okay and had our alone time at the end of the ceremony. We also had a charity go to Medway Funeral Directors to do hand and feet casting and the review they gave of Colin was outstanding with the care and attention he took with our baby. I don't think we could ever truly express or show our gratitude how much Colin has helped throughout the whole process. And given even after all of this when the funeral was over and my husband shook his hand and handed him a roll of money, he simply refused and said that it was his honour.

I couldn't recommend Colin and his team more at Medway Funeral Directors. I lost my Mum when she was only 48 years old and only being 22 myself I felt very lost and had obviously never had this responsibility before, but Colin was so helpful and nothing was ever too much for him and his team. From our first initial meeting, to planning the funeral day and all the little details, taking Mum into their care, sorting out the cars and flowers for us, and now sorting out the ashes, Colin has been amazing. Such a warm and helpful team that makes dealing with such a hard time a lot easier. Every single person who attended the service on the day and all of our close friends and family who we had spoken with about Medway Funeral Directors couldn't help but mention how professional they were, and how great they just were overall, and we couldn't agree more. We put our full trust into Medway Funeral Directors and we can truly say that we did the right thing with picking them to be our funeral directors, and in the unfortunate event of another death in the family we can say wholeheartedly that we wouldn't even think of looking anywhere else - they just hit the nail on the head. But there are always those that have a special place in your heart because you see how they always go that extra mile to give their families more, and to give them ideas to make the funeral for their loved ones something unique and special to them. Colin who runs the Frindsbury branch of Medway Funeral Directors is just such a person. I have seen the time and effort he puts in to helping his families at the most painful of times to find comfort in all the things he can put in place to give their loved ones a totally unique and special send of. Dear Emma and to all of you at Chatham Medway Funeral Service I just wanted to say a Big Thank You for all of the care you gave to my mum MAP. Emma from the moment we did the arrangements, to making sure mum was dressed, had her make up and hair done. For all the support when we came to view mum, we were given so much time and compassion, to every last detail to the end of her service and more, you have been amazing.
