All the details requested were noted by you, confirmed ahead of time and the support and management of our family pall bearers was ‘just great’ We couldn’t have wished for a better send off for mum The importance of a good send off cannot be underestimated, recognising that it is a time of stress, this was reduced / removed and all in your good and capable hands. Having your team also wear their ties of colour, ensured the flavour of mums send off was upheld. Their smooth support to me in the supply of pocket tissues was so appreciated. Immediate and kind. We appreciate all the support that you offered in this funeral journey and without question would recommend you to others.   • When my husband of 60 years died, the thought of arranging his cremation was really daunting. I went to see Colin at Strood Medway funeral director’s and I couldn’t have wished for a kinder and more professional person to guide me every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble and he gave us as much of his time as we needed - never ever rushing us. He organised everything and was extremely efficient and kept us in the loop as he did it. He chose Yvonne to be our celebrant and again she did an excellent job meeting with us and really understanding my husband’s life and she delivered this so well in the Eulogy. We knew we could trust Colin to deliver a first class service and he did from beginning to end. I cannot recommend him more highly.   • I suddenly found myself having to organise a funeral, which I'd never had to do before. I contacted Medway funeral directors to walk me through the process and Colin was so informative and supportive. There was no pressure to use them it was Colin's sincerity and compassion that made me go back after we registered the death. Budget was an issue but we still managed to give our loved one the best send off. I hope that I don't have to go through the process for a while yet but if I do I know where I will go. Thank you so much to Colin and the team I can't thank you enough.

  • Cannot thank colin enough for the care kindness and support that he has shown our family .from the first visit to the day of our dads funeral nothing was too much trouble .a truly memorable day .dad would have been so proud.we have experience of another funeral directors in strood and there is no comparison at all colin and his team are amazing

  • Colin helped us through our very difficult time. His empathy and professionalism made the whole process of arranging the funeral stress free, and he and his team ultimately ensured that the day ran very smoothly. Colin's calm and measured approach is very reassuring and calming at a time when reassurance and calm is all important. I obviously don't wish to be using such services again anytime soon but if I do I will not hesitate to go to Colin. Nothing was too much trouble for him and I can't recommend him enough.
