  • Medway Funeral Directors arranged the funerals for my Mother & Grandmother this spring. Colin was professional, understanding and respectful, always willing to do everything to make sure the funeral was right even though the arrangements were made over the phone due to the difficult circumstances this year.   • When my husband of 60 years died, the thought of arranging his cremation was really daunting. I went to see Colin at Strood Medway funeral director’s and I couldn’t have wished for a kinder and more professional person to guide me every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble and he gave us as much of his time as we needed - never ever rushing us. He organised everything and was extremely efficient and kept us in the loop as he did it. He chose Yvonne to be our celebrant and again she did an excellent job meeting with us and really understanding my husband’s life and she delivered this so well in the Eulogy. We knew we could trust Colin to deliver a first class service and he did from beginning to end. I cannot recommend him more highly.   • In September I was required to arrange the funeral of an old friend who lived some distance away from me. Not having had to arrange a funeral before, I was lucky to be put in touch with the Stood office of your company, where Colin Randall provided me with excellent service and guidance. He smoothed the way with all concerned, making arrangements with the vicar of a local church in Gravesend and giving me an outline of the procedure, together with useful advice. The help given in providing the printed Order of Service at very short notice particularly impressed me, together with giving me tips on local facilities such as taxis and refreshments for the mourners after the funeral. I can heartily recommend Medway Funeral Directors for the prompt, caring help and attention to detail that the company, and especially Colin Randall, gave me at such a difficult time. Alan Walters

  • I have been fortunate enough to have no need to deal with funeral arrangements until now. My Dad chose Medway funeral directors before his passing and I'm glad he did because Colin made the whole process easy for us. Colin answered all of my questions and helped through every stage of the process. Having to deal with the funeral wasn't nice but he totally appreciated how I felt about things and really took the time to talk to me about things. I'm truly grateful to you all and thank you for helping us give our dad a lovely send off.
