  • Based on our experience in April '24, after the passing of our dear Mum, Colin and his team at Medway Funeral Directors were First Class! Their patience, experience and professionalism shone through making what can be a difficult time so much easier for us. From a church funeral to crematorium service and then onto the wake all the pre-planning and advice offered by Colin we acted on worked out so well and importantly kept us on track and on time. We were so pleased Mum had the send off she had wished for, so thanks again Colin to you and your team.

  • Where to start, after my Father passed away Colin and his team were so helpful, professional and ensured my Dad's send off was exactly as he would have wanted it. The Celebrant he recommended (Gemma) was amazing, the florist he recommended (Pick a Posy) gave us stunning array of funeral flowers. All in all Colin made a heartbreaking day pass so smoothly without fault. Thanks Colin, would highly recommend your services.

We felt like the team were holding our hand every step of the way, with patience, kindness and complete understanding.   • I couldn't recommend Colin and his team more at Medway Funeral Directors. I lost my Mum when she was only 48 years old and only being 22 myself I felt very lost and had obviously never had this responsibility before, but Colin was so helpful and nothing was ever too much for him and his team. From our first initial meeting, to planning the funeral day and all the little details, taking Mum into their care, sorting out the cars and flowers for us, and now sorting out the ashes, Colin has been amazing. Such a warm and helpful team that makes dealing with such a hard time a lot easier. Every single person who attended the service on the day and all of our close friends and family who we had spoken with about Medway Funeral Directors couldn't help but mention how professional they were, and how great they just were overall, and we couldn't agree more. We put our full trust into Medway Funeral Directors and we can truly say that we did the right thing with picking them to be our funeral directors, and in the unfortunate event of another death in the family we can say wholeheartedly that we wouldn't even think of looking anywhere else - they just hit the nail on the head. Thank you Colin & team for being so kind, compassionate, caring and sensitive.

  • Medway Funeral Directors , Colin and the team , were above and beyond my expectations regarding my husband care and funeral. My husband died sudden and unexpectedly and Colin went out of his way to ease any pressure and difficulty arising regarding dealing with the death and the afterlife care of my darling Nick. Always welcoming and friendly. The hospital had kept my husband body for a longer than expected time due to an inquest arising. Colin and the team collected Nick from the hospital, cared for him and assisted in any arrangements I needed to make. I never felt pressured or rushed In any way. Colin arranged and advised in all accounts- even to the point of me viewing my husband prior to the funeral. Always available when I needed to pop in, to see Nick, feel Nick or talk about Nick. I had a lot of jewellery made with Nicks ashes and Colin game me a small piece of Nick to carry with me to comfort me, while awaiting the completion of all jewellery using any ashes and then any spare ashes being reunited with Nicks main ashes. I cannot thank Colin and the team enough, the personal service has bonded us a good friendship and I will endeavour to keep in touch, now I have my darling Nick home, safe and sound after many moths of torment. I recommend this small, personal, family run and intimate business to anyone in need of guidance and confident their support and love for your loved one , will shine above and beyond your expectations x thank you Colin and the Whole Team ???????? kind Regards Mrs P x
